Patty Bauer - Center Manager of the Year

-Started with the WHP in 1983, promoted to Dispatch Supervisor in 1990 and then promoted to  Manager in 1996.

-Proven leader and role model. Compassionate, smart, analytical, hard working, and dedicated are just a few words used to describe Patty.

-Generously volunteers her time and expertise to various organizations.

-Final words: The WHP Dispatch Center is a better place because of Manager Bauer, and it is a testament of her character and impact that the entire management team has nominated her.

Mark Kelly - Technician of the Year

-Started with WYDOT Telecommunications June 2007.

-Although he's only been with WYDOT a short amount of time, he has already demonstrated above-average work ethics and a clear understanding of the radio system.

-He's a team player and was a vital and tremendous help when WHP Dispatch moved their communications center.

-Even during stressful times and while working long hours, Mark maintains a pleasant demeanor and is a pleasure to work with.

It was for all of these reasons that the WHP Dispatch Management Staff nominated Mark for this award.

 

Melissa Stubbs - Telecommunicator of the Year

-Started with the Newcastle Police Department in May 1994.

-She is currently a Corporal with Newcastle Police Department Communications, and is also Assistant Supervisor.

-She's a Field Training Officer and an EMD instructor.

-Empathetic and has great customer service skills, making people feel comfortable and satisfied.

-Generously gives of herself, her talents, her training, and her time to the community of Weston County that she serves humbly and graciously.

She was nominated by Mary Robertson, Sgt. of Newcastle Police Department Communications.
